Art is not simply painting a pretty picture, it is a glimpse into my heart and an opportunity to see the world through my eyes.

I have difficulty expressing my thoughts verbally, therefore I use canvas to portray my deepest emotions in a way that urges the viewer to set aside their own version of reality and step into mine.

Some people speak, some write, some dance.  I paint, draw and create.  My heart is splashed across canvas in brilliant color even though I see the world as shades of grey.

For years I struggled with finding the courage to share my art with the world.  My paintings are so personal and I want to hold them close.  But for me to grow as an artist I must break free from that grip because even if there is only one person who understands my paintings, it is well worth it.

Out of Me Studio means just that.  These feelings…these emotions…all for you to see.   I need to get them Out of Me so there is more room to create, more room to grow.
